Indonesia 2026 - Wayang Kulit (Special Pack)

In 2026, Pos Indonesia issued a special limited-edition Special Pack featuring the traditional Indonesian art of Wayang Kulit. The pack revisits the Wayang theme originally presented during the 2012 World Stamp Championship in Jakarta, bringing the designs back in a new and distinctive format. It includes a specially produced sheet featuring the five Pandawa characters, enhanced with unusual printing and finishing techniques such as embossing, hot foil and raised effects. Also included is the 2012 Wayang souvenir sheet carrying a special 2026 overprint, creating a direct philatelic link between the two issues. Limited to only 3,000 packs, this 2026 Special Pack is an interesting combination of Indonesian cultural heritage, modern stamp production and philatelic history.

The first sheet is a self-adhesive sheet made of silk with wayang puppets as having raised/varnish printing, while the large puppet on the selvage has gold embossing.

The second sheet is a 2012 World Stamp Championship Wayang souvenir sheet, overprinted in red in 2026. It is similar to the 2012 issue with 3D embossed Gunungan to the right. The puppets on the stamps have similar raised/varnish printing.

Indonesia–Thailand Joint Issue 2016 - Iconic scenes from the Ramayana epic

This commemorative Indonesia–Thailand Joint Issue souvenir sheet celebrates the shared Ramayana epic through a striking pair of Rp 18,000 self-adhesive stamps set against a decorative background.
